About Allica (she/her)
I’m a Clinical Mental Health Counseling student at Marshall University and hold a B.A. in Psychology from Texas A&M International University. I’m passionate about working with teens, young adults, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, life transitions, and identity development. I feel especially drawn to supporting LGBTQ+ individuals, those questioning their place in the world, and anyone moving through the fog of feeling lost, unseen, or unsure of what comes next.
My approach is collaborative and empowering. I meet clients where they are, holding space for both the things they say and the things they don't yet have words for. I draw from Choice Theory, Mindfulness-based approaches, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Compassion-Focused Therapy. These approaches center connection, identity, and emotional complexity, with room for reflection, creativity, and even humor. I value practices that honor the whole person and the many ways we make meaning.
I came into this field because I’ve seen both the weight of unspoken pain and the power of feeling truly seen. Everyone deserves someone in their corner, and I’m honored to walk with you on your journey.
Outside the therapy room, I recharge through music, nature, and the quiet wisdom of African elephants.
Services & Fees
30-minute consultation | Free
For new clients, I offer a free initial 30-minute phone or face-to-face consultation. During a consultation, I am happy to answer any questions you may have for me. We can discuss things like what to expect from therapy and what you are looking for in a therapist. We can also briefly discuss the concerns you are having and your reason for seeking counseling to ensure that we will be a good fit for working together.
90-minute holistic biopsychosocial intake session | $20-95
This session is different from a consult session. This initial session allows you to relay important history and background information, discuss in detail what brings you to counseling, and what you hope to gain from counseling. It also includes initial treatment planning and collaboration with other providers, such as psychiatrists, dietitians, and other providers.
50-minute individual therapy session | $20-75
Individual session fees include DBT phone coaching between sessions (if therapist offers this) and collaborations with other providers, such as psychiatrists, dietitians, and other therapists.
50-minute couples and family session | $20-95
Family session fees include DBT phone coaching between sessions (if therapist offers this) and collaborations with other providers, such as psychiatrists, dietitians, and other therapists.
