    Group Consultation

In-Person in Austin | Virtual Groups Forming

Thoughtful clinical consultation. Meaningful professional connection.

Clinical work asks us to hold complexity, make difficult decisions, and continue growing—often without enough opportunities to think alongside other clinicians. Group consultation offers a dedicated space to bring that work into conversation.

Our small-group consultation community brings together mental health professionals who value clinical curiosity, ethical practice, and collaborative learning. Through case consultation, thoughtful feedback, and shared reflection, we support one another in strengthening the knowledge, judgment, and confidence we bring to our clients.

Supporting the whole you — the Human and the Healer.

We believe excellent clinical care and sustainable professional practice belong together. Consultation is a place to explore not only what is happening with our clients, but also how our own experiences, identities, values, and professional roles influence the work. We make room for the human side of being a clinician while remaining grounded in our responsibilities to clients and the profession.

    What You Can Expect

Our groups are collaborative and discussion-based, with space for:

    • Case consultation and clinical decision-making

    • Ethical questions, professional boundaries, and complex clinical situations

    • Exploring different perspectives, approaches, and treatment considerations

    • Reflecting on the relational and emotional aspects of clinical work

    • Sharing resources, clinical knowledge, and professional experiences

    • Building meaningful connections with colleagues who understand the work

You do not need to have a particular case or crisis to benefit. Sometimes the most valuable consultation comes from bringing a question you have been sitting with, hearing another clinician’s perspective, or having a consistent place to think more deeply about your practice.

    Professionally Facilitated Consultation

Our consultation groups are led by Chelsea Fielder-Jenks, LPC-S, CEDS-C, PMH-C, an experienced clinical supervisor, consultant, and practice owner.

Unlike a peer-led consultation group, this is a professionally facilitated service. Chelsea holds the role of consultant and facilitator, providing structure, guiding discussion, offering clinical perspectives, and helping members explore complex questions with curiosity and care. The focus remains on the consultation needs of group members rather than on the facilitator’s own clinical caseload.

The session fee reflects the professional consultation, preparation, coordination, and dedicated time involved in maintaining a consistent, high-quality group experience, as well as the practical resources needed to provide a welcoming and reliable space for clinicians to gather.

We value the many ways clinicians support one another, including informal and peer-led communities. This group offers an additional option for those seeking a consistent, professionally facilitated space for clinical growth and connection.

    Who Is This Group For?

This group is designed for mental health professionals seeking ongoing consultation and professional community. Clinicians from a variety of specialties, settings, and stages of practice are welcome.

We are especially interested in creating a group of clinicians who value curiosity, mutual respect, thoughtful dialogue, and a willingness to learn from one another. The goal is not to have all the answers, but to develop the wisdom to approach our work with greater intention, flexibility, and care.

Group consultation is a professional consultation service and does not replace clinical supervision required for licensure or other formal supervisory arrangements.

    Getting Started

    1. Schedule a complimentary fit call.

We’ll begin with a brief 15-minute conversation to learn what you are looking for, answer your questions, and explore whether the group may be a good fit.

    2. Complete a brief consultation questionnaire.

If you are interested in moving forward, we’ll ask you to share more about your clinical focus, professional experience, and goals for consultation.

    3. Meet for an initial consultation and orientation.

Before joining, we’ll schedule a 50-minute initial meeting, in person or virtually, to explore your goals more deeply and review the group’s agreements, confidentiality expectations, and consultation process. The fee for this meeting is $100.

This process helps us maintain a thoughtful, ethical, and supportive environment where each member can participate with shared expectations and a foundation of trust.

Whether you are navigating a challenging case, developing your clinical skills, working with specialized populations, or making decisions about your practice, individual consultation offers dedicated time to think through the questions that matter most to your work.

Consultation is not simply about finding the “right” answer. It is an opportunity to examine clinical and ethical considerations, explore different perspectives, identify practical next steps, and strengthen your confidence in the decisions you make as a clinician.

    Consultation Tailored to Your Needs

More Than Answers — A New Perspective.

Thoughtful consultation creates space to slow down, think critically, and consider what may not yet be visible. You can expect a collaborative process that balances clinical knowledge with curiosity, practical guidance, and respect for your own professional judgment.

When relevant, consultation may include literature, clinical resources, forms, or other materials to support your continued learning and application. These resources are included at no additional cost.

    Team Consultation & Training

    In-Person in Austin or Virtual

Strengthen your team's knowledge, connection, and effectiveness.

Every team brings its own strengths, challenges, and opportunities for growth. Whether you are seeking specialized clinical education, support with complex professional questions, or programming that promotes healthier and more effective ways of working together, consultation and training can help your organization move forward with greater clarity and intention.

I provide customized consultation and training for mental health practices, healthcare organizations, agencies, and businesses. Together, we identify your team's needs and develop an experience that is relevant, engaging, and grounded in practical application.

    Team Consultation

Collaborative support for the challenges your team is navigating.

Team consultation provides a dedicated space to explore clinical, ethical, relational, or organizational questions with the guidance of an experienced consultant. Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all solution, I work with your team to understand the context, consider multiple perspectives, and identify meaningful next steps.

Consultation may focus on complex clinical situations, team communication, professional boundaries, clinical programming, supervision practices, or the systems and processes that support effective care. The goal is to strengthen your team's collective thinking and capacity to respond thoughtfully to the demands of the work.

    Customized Training

Relevant education. Practical application. Meaningful professional growth.

Training is most effective when it connects knowledge to the real situations professionals encounter. I design interactive learning experiences that integrate research, clinical experience, ethical considerations, and opportunities for reflection and application.

Programs may be developed for a single presentation, an extended workshop, or a series of trainings. Content, format, and learning objectives are tailored to your organization's audience, goals, and professional development needs.

    Training Topics Include

    • Clinical ethics and professional boundaries

    • Effective communication and relational skills

    • Burnout prevention, sustainable practice, and organizational well-being

    • Self-compassion and reflective professional practice

    • Eating disorders, body image, and weight-inclusive care

    • Perinatal mental health

    • Mood and anxiety disorders

    • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

    • Clinical supervision and professional development

    • Specialized clinical programming and evidence-based practice

    • Additional topics developed in collaboration with your team

    Designed for Your Organization

Each consultation or training experience is tailored to your organization's culture, challenges, and goals. We begin by discussing what you hope to accomplish, who will be participating, and what kind of support would be most useful.

From there, I can develop a proposal outlining the recommended format, scope, learning objectives when applicable, and associated fees. Whether your team needs a focused consultation, a practical skills workshop, or a more comprehensive professional development experience, the goal is to create something that is both meaningful and useful beyond the session itself.

Let's Explore What Your Team Needs.
